Well that was the quarry for sure i remember the bunker, or cave was full of garbage, old mopeds and such. Remember when they blocked it off? it was because of the frogs.they even had a frog crossing sign put up. thats when the grillplatz was built for us.

I believe it was '80. Although possibly '81 but I don't think so. It was the same time I was working at the Black Forrest Officers Mess and the quarry was just behind there.

oooo... The grillplatz was built later than '80.  Would have been 82 or 83.  I can't remember if I ever went there during lunch break. (I graduated in 82)  Definately not as late as 84.

GRILLPLATZ

we used to fill the big hole up with heineken cans to see if we could fill it

I remember the MP's coming up there all the time just to check us out

it was funny watching everybody run except for a couple of us

they just wanted to make sure we cleaned up our empties and we

would show them empty garbage bags we would bring to clean up

and they were happy and left us alone

Dr. K you must of been there a couple of times when they showed up

it was like clock work, every Friday night

Going thru the pictures. Oh the memories. Red Rock, anyone remember? lol

Heh heh.

Visited "red rock" November 2004.  It looked quite pitiful as a climbing feat.  It seemed so huge at the time.

Ken Whitehead - I remember you- just looked you up in the yearbook.

Hmm i don't remember the picture being so crappy when I took it.  The rock is overgrown now, harder to see. Doesn't look like much.

Red rock , the one i know is in Kingston up beside or behind Batoche Ave school, well KMRC now. Oh the stories i could tell about that place but this is not an adult site lol. I used to play down there all the time. my younger brother and his buddy sean used to light the dead grass on fire run down and pull the fire alarm that used to be on the lamp pole out front of the school just to watch the fire trucks fly across hwy 15 through the barrier behind Falaise way and down to the school. If you can't get your campfire going call kevin or Sean.

That's the place. There was a fountain nearby though. The woods were polluted with bunkers and old trenches in places.
