Yep, just like the "do not call" list

Telemarketers are able to register themselves as telemarketers and are then able to get access to the DNC list and see the phone numbers of all the people that have registered and guess what they do with that list?  Gee I wonder eh  Roll Eyes

Then, those telemarketers that are not in this country and use the list to pester us at dinner time cannot be fined because their offices are not in Canada

And to add insult to injury, our wonderful gov't has no plans to rectify either situation at this time.

LOL Smiley

Not in this case.  Protection is critical! Ask them for a list and they will laugh at you.

Domain People(accredit domain-name registrar) falls under ICANN.

http://www.icann.org/en/registrars/accredited-list.html

Who are they, ICANN  is the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers

"ICANN' tasks include responsibility for Internet Protocol (IP) address space allocation, protocol identifier assignment, generic (gTLD) and country code Top Level Domain name system management, and root server system management functions. More generically, ICANN is responsible for managing the assignment of domain names and IP addresses.."

ie Lahrbrat.com, lahrbrat.ca , lahrbat.biz    lahrbrat.travel   (Must be verified as a legitimate travel-related entity)etc..  are just a few extensions.

Visit the following URL for more ..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_top-level_domains

Godaddy.com is another well know accredited domain registrar
