Trying to keep the info flowing now that I have regained full computer use.

The Reunion website is pretty ornery so I am using all means of communication. The registration form is just about finalized. It should be posted soon. Will post a link here there and everywehere.

In the meantime, people have requested a list of attendees - well, I have a quasi list however, I only have partial names or psuedonyms so it isn't much help. Until the form is available and you plan on attending, either drop me a message through this site or go to the Facebook page and message me there.

There are about 50 people who are tentatively attending the golf game on Friday. Yay! These are some of the peopel intending to come.

You are right.  That website is kind of buggy.

I'm glad you are finding other ways to pass on information though.

We have gone from two general websites to a whole ton of them in 9 years.  You would think it would be easier to stay in contact with that many avenues available but, it seems to have just confused the issue.

Every time I turn around, there is another Lahr related facebook page which seems to just create another level of separation.  Your reunion facebook group is good.  It's specific and THE place to get updates since the website is annoyingly buggy.

So I've added an event invitation through Facebook. Response is good. If you are interested in seeing who is going or thinking of going, it's a good place to start.

Still trying to rally the troops from the 80s and 90s.

To confirm.

Fridays meet and greet/registration will happen at the K-Rock Centre. This is the new arena built downtown. The Saturday dinner and dance will happen there as well.

We are arranging for some other small activities like:
1 - early bird golf for those who get there ahead of Friday
2 - 1000 island boat cruise on the Saturday afteroon
3 - Brat Jam on Sunday

There are other activities in and around Kingston to enjoy such as shopping downtown, touring Fort Henry (a UNESCO World HEritage Site), touring CFB Kingston and Red Rock.

Initial costs are estimated at $250 for Friday nite and Saturday nite. FOr those who choose to attend only one nite (not recommended as you miss too much time to spend reminiscing) the price will be pro-rated. Costs may be subject to change depending on number of attendees (ie - a rebate).

The registration form for the reunion is available for download off of the website www.lahrbratreunion4.ca/lahr

Also - all you facebook users, can you check out the reunion facebook page Overseas BRat Reunion Kingston 2009. It seems to have lost it's members.

PAypal link is established on the reunion website. Also, registration form is available. If you are attending please send in your registration and deposit ASAP. We need to know numbers.

Hello All of you who are thinking of attending the Reunion in Kingston

Registration is required by May 15th - form says 14, but should say 15. You will need to complete the registration form found on the website (www.lahrbratreunion4.ca/lahr) and pay your deposit in order attend the reunion. It is not sufficient to accept the event invite on facebook.

We are encountering difficulty with the form. If you do not have a full blown version of Adobe you will need to save the completed form as text and email that in. otherwise you can download a trial version of the full adobe software for 30 days for free and it will allow you to complete the form, save it and send it to us.

The preferred method of payment is paypal. This is completely secure and fast. A deposit of $100 is required per guest upon registration, and the balance is due July 1. BAsed on numbers and final costs, there may be a rebate given. We will not know the extent of a rebate until closer to the reunion.

More information to be posted shortly.

If you have already registered and paid your fees, please ignore this message.

IF you are not coming down - wish you were.

From what I can tell, no one from the board has registered for the reunion. Heatehr - drop us a line at cobraiv@kos.net.

By the way - there still is space to register. Since we changed venues the cost has dropped significantly. For the 2 nights its $150.
