So a time has been set for meeting the group of volunteers for the Organizing Committee. One step closer.

I know 2 years down the road is hard to plan for but I do hope you all keep the August long weekend open and plan to come down tot he Limestone City and party it up!

So the committee got together over the weekend at a local german restaurant. Yummy food. The jagerschnitzel was huge and way too yummy.

We will hopefully have a website set up shortly. I will post the link once I get it.

We've bounced around some ideas for the weekend of fun. All info will be posted on teh website when it is up and running.

Chantal,
what German restaurant is there in Kingston?  I'm racking my brain trying to figure out if it's something new or it's been there a while and I never knew about it.  Next time I'm in town visiting my mother-in-law it will be a great place to take her!

HEather is right. It is the Amadeus Cafe and it is downtown on Princess between Montreal and Bagot.

They have been there some 15 years. I haven't been since it opened. They have a German speaking club and a few other things they do.

very nice!  I guess I recall seeing that name before but didn't even contemplate that it was a German restaurant....just figured it was an uppity coffee stop! Wink
